I am Demetrius Green, an assistant superintendent at Turner Construction and a photographer in NYC, specializing in people and architecture.

I was born and raised in the Bronx with the skyline of Manhattan behind me and a view of the South Bronx in front. Between staring out my apartment windows and looking through old photo albums, I spent my early years fascinated by the things that would shape my current career trajectory.

While studying Civil Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, I joined the school photo club and decided to take photography seriously. I quickly became a major event and portrait photographer for the school and the various organizations on campus. However, it was in a joint class with architecture students during my last year when I realized I could be taking pictures of buildings and interiors. I was inspired by the renderings produced by my peers, and I found myself eager to jump into architectural photography. I decided right then and there that this would be my career.
